Which stage are you, really
You'll be able to judge your own stage by evidence instead of by how long you've been building, and know what each stage's investors actually expect.

Evidence, Not Time
Startup stage is defined by the evidence you've gathered — signups, revenue, usage, retention — not by how many months or years have passed since founding. A three-year-old company with no clear demand signal can still be pre-seed in substance; a four-month-old company with strong retention can already be seed-ready. Vague traction claims without numbers are one of the most common, and most fixable, pitch weaknesses.
